The Last Emperors is a three-phase project combining fine arts and crafts, children’s culture and photography. The project delves into the world of children’s toys and the abundance where children live today. On average, a child has about 200-300 toys. We wonder if this generation will be the last to play with this amount of toys. Imperial headgear is a colorful headdress for children, mainly made of plastic toys, spatula and recycled goods, made by visual artist Heidi Kesti.
